'Cats Continue Homestand Wednesday, Host William Peace

Coming off a 1-1 (2OT) draw over the weekend, the Davidson women's soccer team will continue its four-match homestand Wednesday when William Peace University visits Alumni Stadium for a 7 p.m. contest.
The Wildcats enter 1-1-1 on the young season following their result against VMI Sunday.
Remi White and Kendall Bushick have scored the lone goals for Davidson in 2021 with Gretchen Pearson setting up White's eventual game-winner at Western Carolina in the season opener.
Mary Grace Bunch, an all-conference selection a year ago, continues to be solid in goal for the 'Cats as the junior has a 0.62 goals-against-average through three contests.
As a team, the 'Cats have out-shot their opponents a combined 28-14.
William Peace comes in with a record of 2-2-0 following a 2-1 setback to North Carolina Wesleyan.
The Pacers are led offensively by Raine Greene, who has a pair of two-goal performances this season.
