• Davidson enters its conference opener 6-6 following a 76-71 setback at Vanderbilt Monday.
• Sunday's contest marks the beginning of Davidson's sixth Atlantic 10 season.
• Davidson is 2-3 in A-10 openers since joining the league in 2014-15.
• The Wildcats are 59-31 in A-10 regular season play, including 14-4 last year, and 68-36 including A-10 tournament play.
• This marks the third of four straight on the road for the 'Cats and nine of 10 away from Belk Arena.
• Through 12 games, junior Kellan Grady continues to lead Davidson in scoring at 16.1 points per outing.
• Senior Jon Axel Gudmundsson (11.7), junior Carter Collins (10.7) and sophomore Luka Brajkovic (10.0) are also averaging double figures for the Wildcats.
LAST TIME OUT
• Despite not hitting a field goal the final 13:09 and scoring its last 17 points from the charity stripe, Vanderbilt held off Davidson late, 76-71, Monday evening inside Memorial Gymnasium.
• Kellan Grady paced five Wildcats in double figures with 16 points. He was joined by Carter Collins (13), Jon Axel Gudmundsson (12), Mike Jones (10) and Hyunjung Lee (10).
• After the Commodores built a 24-point lead, 56-32, with 15:48 to play, Davidson slowly chipped away at their largest deficit of the contest and got within five late, but was unable to get closer.
• The Wildcats, who drilled 14-of-31 3-pointers, including 10 in the second half, held Vandy to just five buckets in the frame.
• The Commodores got to the free-throw line 29 times in the final stanza to finish the contest 25-of-37 overall. Davidson went 9-of-14 at the stripe.
• In addition to shooting 68 percent (17-25) in the first 20 minutes, Vanderbilt grabbed control with a 22-4 run midway through the opening period and carried a 44-27 margin into the break.

• KiShawn Pritchett backed in his defender to score the go-ahead layup, and Kellan Grady added two late free throws to push Davidson past Duquesne 65-61 a year ago at Belk Arena.
• The game featured 18 lead changes, and each team led for more than 16 minutes.
• The Wildcats pulled ahead for good when Pritchett caught the ball in the left corner, dribbled in against Marcus Weathers and lofted a turnaround shot over Weathers and fellow defender Michael Hughes with 1:41 left. The shot gave the Wildcats a 63-61 lead.
• Luka Brajkovic added 15 points for the Wildcats, and Jon Axel Gudmundsson scored 12, while Pritchett chipped in 10.
