DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson, coming off a 1-0 win last Sunday on Senior Day, will look to carry that momentum into its next two games on the road this week at UNCG Thursday and then at UNC Asheville Sunday afternoon.
The Matchup ...
Davidson (3-3, 0-0 A-10) travels to Greensboro, N.C., to take on UNCG (0-4-1) Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. and then heads to the mountains of North Carolina to face UNC Asheville (1-4) Sunday at 2 p.m.
Coach Denton's Thoughts on the Upcoming Game ...
"We are looking forward to another two tough games on the road this week and weekend. First, we travel to UNCG Thursday night to face a very strong team that has been part of the NCAA Tournament for the last two years after winning the SoCon Tournament. They're a very talented group and have multiple ways to threaten in the final third. It will be another tough game and our players are looking forward to the matchup. We have to be ready and focused for the full 90 minutes."
"On Saturday we will make the short trip to face UNC Asheville for Sunday's matchup. This is our last road trip prior to the A-10 Conference games starting and getting points on the road is one of the things we continue to talk about with our group. It is not just about the games on that day or night, it is about the mindset leading up to the games on the road that can also make the difference."
"Should be another great week for us, and all the players and coaches are looking forward to the games."
