DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Wildcats hit the road for their season finale Saturday when they travel to Stetson at 1 p.m. on ESPN3.
THE GAME
• The Wildcats hit the road for their season finale Saturday when they travel to Stetson for a 1 p.m. contest.
• Saturday's game will mark the seventh meeting between the two teams and the all-time series that dates back to 1912, is tied at three games each. Stetson has won the last two meetings against the 'Cats.
• The Wildcats are tied 1-1 against the Hatters at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium where Stetson took the last meeting, 26-13, on Nov. 9, 2013.
• The last Pioneer Football League win for the Wildcats came at Valparaiso on Nov. 10, 2012 where Davidson took a 28-27 overtime victory.
• Davidson is 28-64 (.304) all-time in the Pioneer Football League.

Taylor Mitchell finished the day 20-of-37 for 180 yards and one interception. The Wildcats' William Morris caught six passes for a game-high 68 yards. In addition to its strong running game, the Toreros finished with 429 total yards, while holding the Wildcats to 228 yards and just 10 first downs. Despite the loss, Davidson's defense finished with six sacks, including three from freshman Boo Jordan.
ROWELL PLACED ON CFPA KICKOFF RETURNER WATCH LIST
Sophomore Ben Rowell was placed on the College Football Performance Awards FCS Awards Watch List for the 2015 Kickoff Returner Award this week. Rowell is one of 34 players from the Football Championship Subdivision named to the midseason kickoff returner list. For the season, the defensive back has returned 16 kickoffs for 455 yards (28.4 yards per return), which currently ranks seventh in the NCAA. Rowell produced an 81-yarder against conference foe Valparaiso and an 80-yard return in Davidson's win over Kentucky Wesleyan.
MORRIS RECORD WATCH
Senior WR William Morris is one step closer to setting all three of Davidson's all-time receiving records as he broke Lanny Funsten's career yards mark against Marist on Oct. 24. Morris needs just two receptions and one touchdown to tie Funsten in both categories. Morris also holds the single-season receiving yards record with 1,224 that was set in 2014.

DEFENSE SACKS MARIST & SAN DIEGO
Davidson's defense finished with six sacks and nine tackles for a loss against the Red Foxes on Oct. 10. This marks the first time since 2009 the Wildcats recorded six sacks in a game and the first time since 2013 Davidson finished with nine TFL in a game, which were both against Drake. Three games after Marist, the 'Cats picked up six sacks again, this time against San Diego. Five of the six sacks against the Toreros were from freshmen, including three from Boo Jordan.
DARYOUSH EARNS SECOND-CAREER ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT HONOR
Senior right tackle Josh Daryoush was named to the 2015 Academic All-District III First Team on Nov. 5. The Bethesda, Md., native, who is pursuing a pre-medicine track, is a crucial part of Davidson's offensive line and has started all nine games at right tackle this season. As a first team selection, Daryoush is eligible for consideration for the Academic All-American team. The offensive lineman was named Academic All-District last season and became the 10th Wildcat football player to earn the honor twice.
