DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Wildcats continue at home for the second-straight weekend when they host Campbell on Saturday at 3 p.m.
THE GAME
• The Wildcats continue at home when they host Campbell in PFL action on Saturday at 3 p.m.
• PROMOTIONS: For every fan who dresses up in a Halloween costume will have free entry into Saturday's game. Davidson football decals will also be given out to the first 1,000 fans.
• Saturday's game will mark the eighth meeting between the two teams and Davidson leads the all-time series that dates back to 2008, 4-3. Although Davidson leads the series, Campbell has won the last three of the four meetings.
• The last Pioneer Football League win for the Wildcats came at Valparaiso on Nov. 10, 2012 where Davidson took a 28-27 overtime victory.
• Davidson is 28-61 (.315) all-time in the Pioneer Football League.
• This week's honorary captain is David Harper, Class of 1975. Harper was a standout quarterback for the Wildcats. The Stone Mt., Ga., native was a three-year letterwinner and has his most impressive season in 1973. Harper led the Southern Conference in passing as he completed 175-of-329 passes for 1,885 yards, which ranked third nationally his junior campaign.

• Despite William Morris becoming Davidson's all-time leader in receiving yards, the Wildcats are coming off a 31-10 setback to Marist in PFL action last Saturday at Richardson Stadium.

Despite William Morris becoming Davidson's all-time leader in receiving yards, the Wildcats suffered a 31-10 setback to Marist in PFL action Saturday at Richardson Stadium. Davidson jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter off a 29-yard field goal from Trevor Smith and a 92-yard touchdown pass from Taylor Mitchell to Morris, but it wasn't enough as back-to-back turnovers that led to Marist touchdowns in the third quarter doomed the 'Cats. Morris finished the day with 106 yards off three receptions that allowed him to surpass Lanny Funsten's 2,770-yard record, which was set in 2012, with 2,823 career yards. Davidson's defense finished with six sacks and nine tackles for a loss, which marks the first time since 2009 the Wildcats recorded six sacks in a game.

Senior WR William Morris is one step closer to setting all three of Davidson's all-time receiving records as broke Lanny Funsten's career yards mark against Marist on Oct. 24.
