Wildcat Tidbits
• After a week break for exams, Davidson returns to the hardwood Saturday with a 4 p.m. tip at the College of Charleston.
• Winners of six straight, the Wildcats enter 8-1 overall following a 78-58 win over Niagara at Belk Arena.
• With their most recent victory, Davidson matched (2008-09) its best-ever start under head coach Bob McKillop, who is in his 26th season at the helm.
• Tyler Kalinoski and Jack Gibbs continue to lead four Wildcats in double figures, averaging 17.2 and 15.2 points per game, respectively.
• Peyton Aldridge is also averaging double figures at 11.3 points per outing, while Jordan Barham is contributing 10.4 points off the bench.
• In addition to ranking third nationally in scoring offense (88.6 ppg), Davidson is averaging 11.9 3-pointers per game, which is tied for fourth in the nation.
• The Wildcats also rank among national leaders in assist/turnover ratio (1.80/2nd), assists per game (19.0/3rd), 3-point field-goal percentage (.421/T-11th), scoring margin (+18.9/12th) and free-throw percentage (.761/13th).
• Davidson has won 10 of its last 11 road contests dating back to last season.
• Up next, Davidson will enjoy a 10-day break before traveling to No. 5/6 Virginia for a Dec. 30 contest in Charlottesville.
