DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Will Archambault (28) and Stephen Curry (26) combined for 54 points as Davidson ran its winning streak to 15 games with an 86-51 victory over Furman in SoCon men's basketball action Saturday afternoon at John M. Belk Arena.

The triumph was also the Wildcats 27th straight conference regular season victory, which ties a league mark set by Davidson on two other occasions (1968-71 and 2005-06).

A sophomore from St., Hubert, Quebec, Archambault came off the bench to drill 11-of-14 attempts from the floor and five three-pointers en route to breaking his previous career-high of 19. Curry also knocked down five shots from the outside to hit the 20-point plateau for the 39th time in his career.

Andrew Lovedale added double digits for the Wildcats with 14 points, while Jason Richards handed out nine assists and tallied a game-high seven rebounds. Archambault's total helped Davidson outscore Furman 44-20 off the bench.

Davidson raced out of the gates to a 19-0 lead forcing the Paladins to burn three 30-second timeouts. During the spurt, Curry scored 10 points, including a pair of threes that moved him into second on Davidson's all-time list. Furman's first bucket of the contest didn't come until the 11:56 mark.

The Wildcats stretched their first-half lead to as many as 26 (46-20) on Archambault's fourth trey of the stanza before heading into the break up, 46-22. Along with both Curry (18) and Archambault (16) scoring double figures in the opening period, the duo also combined to hit all seven of the Wildcats' buckets from downtown.  The lead grew to as many as 37 points with 11:14 to go in the game after an Archambault layup.

Davidson shot 48 percent for the game, including 11-of-24 from long distance, while Furman shot 39 percent from the floor and 8-for-21 from long range. The Wildcats owned a 40-26 edge on the glass, including 10-2 on the offensive end, which made for a 9-0 advantage in second-chance points.

George Brozos and Connor Nolte were the only Paladins to hit the 10-point plateau with 14 and 13, respectively.

Davidson concludes its brief homestand Tuesday in a 7 p.m. contest with UNC Greensboro that will be televised on ESPN2. Furman hosts Wofford Monday at 7 p.m.
