Joe Lehrman joined Davidson College in June 2025 as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. In this role, he serves as the primary media contact for men’s and women's soccer, women’s basketball, and men’s tennis.

Lehrman arrived at Davidson following a two-year stint as a Graduate Assistant at Canisius University (2023–2025). During his time with the Golden Griffins, he managed communications for men’s soccer, women’s basketball, swimming and diving, and baseball. Beyond his primary beats, he contributed photography, statistical support, and digital content for the entire athletic department while completing his Master’s in Sports Administration.

A proud North Carolinian, Lehrman earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from UNC Asheville. He served as the student manager for the Bulldogs' baseball team for four years before transitioning into a professional role as a sports information assistant for the track and field programs.

Currently, the Raleigh native resides in Cornelius, N.C.
