Sutton on Ransone: “A speedy attacker who will switch between the midfield and front line, Catherine has great stick skills and an excellent shot. We will be looking to her as a main scorer this season.”
2006: Appeared in all 21 games, making 18 starts last season … team’s second-leading scorer with eight goals and six assists … scored two goals in ‘Cats 4-3 overtime win at New Hampshire on Sept. 9 … recorded three goals in Davidson’s 9-1 win over Catawba on Oct. 18 … also scored a goal against Longwood and Pacific and scored the game-winner against Georgetown … added a pair of assists in back-to-back games against Appalachian on Sept. 17 and 19 … posted assists against Radford (Oct. 15) and Georgetown.
