Wildcats Seek Bounce-Back Win at St. Bonaventure

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson College women's basketball team looks to shed a two-game losing skid, traveling to St. Bonaventure for Wednesday night match-up.

LAST TIME OUT
While posting her third straight double-double, Charlise Dunn eclipsed the 1,000-point, 500-rebound career milestone with 21 points and 11 boards, but Davidson fell 59–51 to Saint Joseph's.
Dunn reached both career achievements in Sunday's game, making her the 16th player in program history to score 1000 points and capture 500 rebounds. She is also one of three players to record 1000 points, 500 rebounds, 100 steals and 120 three-point field goals, alongside Laura Murray and Jen O'Brien.
Davidson out-rebounded Saint Joe's 33-30 but were held to 28.6 percent from beyond the arc.
SERIES HISTORY
The Wildcats hold a 10-6 series lead over the Bonnies and have won seven straight games dating back to March of the 2020-2021 season.
In the 2024-25 season, Davidson took both games against the Bonnies, winning 83-45 and 55-37 respectively.
In Olean Last season, Charlise Dunn (17), Mallorie Haines (15) and Tomisin Adenupe (10) combined for 42 to take the win 83-45 win. Davidson tied a program-best 14 made 3-pointers with Haines leading the charge going 5-of-9 from distance as well as Adenupe a perfect 2-of-2 effort beyond the arc. Additionally, the 'Cats connected on a season-best 34 field goals overall as all 13 players that touched the court scored at least one basket.
BREAKING THE SLUMP
After dropping three of the last four games, the 'Cats are looking to rebound with a win against St. Bonaventure. The 'Cats have been successful after losses this season, holding a 6-2 record. They hold a plus-9.8 scoring margin and are shooting 41.1 precent form the field in those games. They have also been exceptional rebounding the ball, averaging 38.1 per game with a +8.1 margin.
Dunn has led the way in bounce back games, averaging nearly a double-double at 17.7 point and 9.6 rebounds per game. Donovan has also been steady, scoring 12.1 point while 40.6 percent from the in games coming off a loss.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE
Riding a three-game double-double streak, Dunn has notched 10 this season to lead the A-10. She has climbed to 16th in the nation in double-doubles this season.
Her streak of high rebounding efforts has her ranked third in the A-10 in rebounds per game and she ranks eighth in points per game, averaging 15.2.
