Wildcats Conclude Road Trip with Setback at St. Bonaventure

OLEAN, N.Y. – Davidson fell on the road to St. Bonaventure, 59-50, in Atlantic 10 women's basketball action Wednesday evening inside the Reilly Center.
The setback drops the Wildcats to 15-10 overall and 7-5 in conference play.
Despite the loss, Charlise Dunn added another double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Katie Donovan scored 13 for the Wildcats, who shot just 34.5 percent.
Neither team led by more than five in the opening 20 minutes, but it was the Bonnies that closed the second quarter with a 10-3 run to take a 32-29 advantage at the half.
St. Bonaventure (13-11, 4-8 A-10) grabbed control early in the third quarter and would eventually stretch the margin to as many as nine on multiple occasions.
Trailing 52-43, Davidson reeled off seven straight to cut the deficit to 52-50 with 90 ticks left. The Bonnies responded with seven unanswered of their own to secure their first win over the 'Cats in five years.
Laycee Drake was the lone St. Bonaventure in double figures with 14 points to go along with a team-best eight boards.
