Wildcats Announce 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

The slate features marquee home matchups against major conference opponents, an appearance in the Battle 4 Atlantis and key games against strong mid-major opponents.
"We are thrilled to finally share our complete non-conference schedule, one we believe is among the very best in the country," said Fulks. "Hosting three Power 4 opponents (Virginia, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State) gives our fans an awesome opportunity to pack Belk Arena and watch high-level women's basketball right here at home. We are also thankful to again be invited to a premier holiday showcase at the Battle 4 Atlantis, featuring a matchup against Notre Dame and a nationally televised Thanksgiving Day game against Florida. This schedule is purpose-built to challenge this group and prepare us for the always-grueling Atlantic 10 slate. Road tests at Columbia, NC State, Georgetown and Ohio will give us great stylistic exposure to the rigors of college basketball. We are eager to get rolling and look forward to seeing the Davidson College community wrap their arms around this team."
The Wildcats open action with a road exhibition against North Carolina on Oct. 18, before officially tipping off the regular season at reigning WBIT champion Columbia on Nov. 2. Davidson then returns home to host ACC opponent Virginia on Nov. 5, starting a five-game homestand that also includes regional matchups against Campbell (Nov. 8), App State (Nov. 11), Charleston Southern (Nov. 18) and Charlotte (Nov. 21).Over Thanksgiving week, Davidson travels to the Bahamas to compete in the multi-team Battle 4 Atlantis from Nov. 24–26.
December showcases one of the most elite home slates in program history, as the Wildcats welcome SEC powerhouses Vanderbilt (Dec. 9) and Mississippi State (Dec. 20) to Belk Arena.
The 'Cats close out the non-conference slate with a home contest against Radford on Dec. 13 and road tests at Georgetown on Dec. 17 and Ohio on Dec. 22.
