SERIES HISTORY
The Wildcats have only faced the Hurricanes one time in women's basketball, falling 67-35 on Dec. 8, 2012. Miami has gotten off to a good start this season, coming into the showcase with a 3-0 record and a plus-33.3 scoring margin.
For Saturday's matchup, the 'Cats will face the Baylor Bears for the first time in a women's basketball contest. Baylor, a preseason top-25 team, enters the showcase 4-0 and ranked as the seventh team in the nation by the Associated Press and ranked 10th in the coaches' poll.
NEW HERO EVERY GAME
Through five games this season, the Wildcats have had a different leading scorer in each game. To open the season at Mississippi State, freshman Ines Garcia Monje led the team with 11 points and six rebounds. Although she has not reached double figures since, the rookie continues to show her elite playmaking abilities with her team-leading 3.6 assists per game and 2.6 assist-to-turnover ratio.
At Florida Gulf Coast, Kyra Bruyndoncx led the way with 20 points on 6-for-9 shooting from beyond the arc en route to a 26-point road victory. The sophomore leads the Atlantic 10 in 3-point percentage, shooting 62.3 percent from distance. This also ranks as the fifth best mark in the nation.
Emilie Bessell (19) and Edina Strausz (12) both posted career-high scoring nights in Davidson's win over App State. In their win over Iona, Donovan returned to form with a team- leading 26 points on 10-for-14 shooting.
Dunn, the team's lone senior, has shown up every game, leading the team in scoring (15.4 ppg), rebounding (6.6 rpg), steals (1.6) and blocks (1.0). Dunn has scored in double figures in all five games.
SHOOTING AND STIFLING

Their 3-point shooting percentage ranks second in the A-10 and 34th nationally. The Wildcats' scoring defense ranks third in the conference and 68th in the nation.
