LAST TIME OUT... Despite leading for three quarters of play on Saturday afternoon, the Davidson women's basketball team fell to the George Mason Patriots 62-58 in overtime. The Wildcats led by as many as 10 points in the contest, and had a 43-36 lead heading into the final quarter of regulation. George Mason held Davidson to just eight points in the fourth, while stringing together an 8-2 run to close the gap to one point, 45-44. After taking a 51-49 lead with 39 seconds remaining, Suzi-Rose Deegan sank a driving layup to settle the score and ultimately force overtime. Deegan started off the extra period with a three-point play, but the Patriots scored nine straight and closed the door on the overtime win.

ABOUT THE RAMS... Opposite the 'Cats, the Rams are coming off a double overtime victory on Wednesday night, where they defeated Saint Joseph's 77-73 to remain a perfect 9-0 in Atlantic 10 play. Rhody sits alone at the top of the conference, as Mayé Touré leads the way with 14.1 points per game and 8.6 rebounds per game.

UNTIL NOW... The Wildcats have won four of their last five contests, including a four-game win streak that stretched from January 14-25. In that span, sophomore point guard Issy Morgan was named the Atlantic 10's Player of the Week for a two-game stretch where she scored 19 points per game, including career-high 20 points against Duquesne. Davidson sits at sixth place in the league standings, with seven games to go in the regular season and is shooting 43 percent from the floor on the year, good for third-best in the conference.
