THE SERIES
- Saturday afternoon will be the 12th all-time meeting between St. Bonnies and Davidson.
- Davidson has won the last two meetings, 50-47 & 69-61.
- Last time out, the Wildcats met Bonaventure after a 21-day COVID-19 hiatus. Cameron Tabor hit a game-winning three-pointer with 14 seconds to go to secure the 50-47 victory.
- A win would be the Wildcats' first in the A-10 this season, eighth overall and first victory in 2023.
LAST TIME OUT... The Davidson women's basketball team battled through a tight second half with the Dayton Flyers during Atlantic 10 play on Wednesday night, but were unable to close a one-point gap for good, ultimately falling 66-60 from inside UD Arena. Davidson won the battle on the glass with a season-high performance, 42-39, as Elle Sutphin recorded her third double-double of the season with 15 points and a career-high 13 rebounds. Suzi-Rose Deegan added 12 points and nine rebounds while sophomore Mallorie Haines shot 3-3 from beyond the arc and finished with 11 points.
DEEGAN, DEEGAN, DEEGAN... Suzi-Rose Deegan is averaging 13.4 points per game in her senior year, scoring in double-figures in 12 of Davidson's 16 games this season. The Perth, Australia native is shooting 42.6 percent from the floor during the 2022-23 campaign, and is closing in on 1,000 career points with 944 points to date.
ON THE GLASS... The Wildcats had a season-high rebounding effort on Wednesday night with 42 boards, averaging 32.1 per game this season. Against the Flyers, Davidson grabbed 18 offensive rebounds, the most o-boards in a single game since getting 16 against Charleston Southern on Dec. 9, 2020.
ABOUT THE BONNIES... Davidson and St. Bonaventure are both looking for their first wins in 2023, as the Bonnies are 0-4 in Atlantic 10 league play and 3-16 overall. Led by I'yanna Lops' 10.8 points per game average, the Bonnies average 50.8 points per game as a team and shoot 33.3 percent from the floor.
