The Matchup ...
Davidson (1-0, 0-0 A-10) takes on its second straight Big South opponent, facing the Winthrop Eagles (8-9-1, 4-6-0 Big South last year) in Rock Hill, S.C., at Eagle Field for a 1 p.m. contest.
Coach Denton's Thoughts on the Upcoming Game ...
"Winthrop will be a very tough game. It will be a physical battle and our group has to be ready to compete from the first to the last minute. It will be another test for our group on the road after a tough battle Thursday night vs. Gardner Webb.
