ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Kellan Grady poured in a game-high 29 points and Davidson erased a 10-point halftime deficit to rally past St. Bonaventure, 75-66, in Atlantic 10 men's basketball Friday evening at the Reilly Center.
With the win, the Wildcats moved to 7-1 in the A-10 and are now tied for first place with George Mason, which visits VCU Saturday.
Davidson (16-5) started Friday's second half much like the first, drilling four 3-pointers as part of a 14-6 run to open and eventually retook the lead on a Carter Collins reverse layup with 9:22 to play.
After St. Bona (8-13, 4-4 A-10) went back in front 55-54 on a Kyle Lofton jumper, Grady answered with 10 straight points to spark a 16-4 run, which was capped by a pair of long Jon Axel Gudmundsson triples to put the game out of reach.
Grady, who finished 10-of-17 from the floor and hit five treys, was joined in double figures by backcourt mates Luke Frampton and Gudmundsson, who had 19 points each.
Frampton also knocked down five 3-pointers for the Wildcats, who finished 14-for-30 (46.7 percent) from deep as a team.
In addition to its hot shooting from behind the arc, Davidson held the Bonnies to just 29.6 percent after intermission.
Lofton paced three Bonnies in double digits with 24 points, while Courtney Stockard and Ladarien Griffin added 18 and 10, respectively.
Davidson raced out to a 17-5 advantage thanks to four early 3-pointers, including two from Frampton. The Bonnies slowly chipped away and trailed 24-16 before scoring 15 unanswered to go up, 31-24.
After the 'Cats got to within 33-32 late in the first half, Bona responded again and closed on an 11-2 spurt to take a 44-34 lead into the break.

Davidson returns home to Belk Arena Wednesday for a nationally-televised (ESPNU) contest against Rhode Island at 7 p.m.
