DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 home contest to visiting Mercer Friday night under the lights in Alumni Stadium.
The Wildcats fell to 2-3 on the season, while the Bears ran their record to 3-1-1.

•This was the seventh meeting all-time, and first since 2008, between both school's women's soccer program's.
•Mercer holds a 5-2 lead in the series with its win tonight.
•Davidson's program is beginning its 30th year of women's soccer and has 250 wins all-time.
•The game was delayed for an hour due to lightning in the area.
•Davidson nearly took an early lead after close to three minutes had come off the clock, but Mia Hodges one touch was saved by the Mercer keeper.
