Yang: I started swimming when I was 5 years old at our local YMCA because my older sister had started swimming there, and I just wanted to do everything she did!

Yang: The faculty, coaches, and students I met during my first campus visits all expressed a kind of genuine and compassionate character that I knew was special to Davidson.
What's your best Davidson swimming memory to date?
Yang: Cheering on (and crying for) Elise Lankiewicz as she qualified for NCAAs!
What do you like to do for fun away from the pool?

Who is an athlete you admire and why?

What's the last book you read?
Yang: When Breath Becomes Air
What are your plans after graduation?
Yang: I hope to spend a gap year as a medical assistant or clinical research coordinator before applying for medical school.
