ASHEVILLE — Wins by Frances Bohner and Elle Jacobsen highlighted the Davidson women's swimming and diving team's visit to UNC Asheville Saturday.
Bohner swam to a win in the 1,000 free, while Jacobsen won two rounds of 1-meter diving, though UNCA won 188-112 in the team tally.
"Credit to UNCA, they were faster than us today," said Davidson coach John Young. "But I'm proud of the women for being great teammates and racing hard, impressed by our divers who showed off when it was their turn, and excited by all that the team has accomplished during these consecutive competition weekends."
Bohner swam out front in the 1,000 with a time of 10:54.33.
Jacobsen won the 1M with scores of 279.30 and 299.78.
