DAVIDSON, N.C. — Coming off its second Atlantic 10 win over the past weekend, the Davidson women's basketball game will look to make it two in a row on Wednesday when they play host to George Washington inside John M. Belk Arena at 7 p.m.

The Wildcats (7-11, 2-3 A-10) have won two of their past three games, including a 10-point (77-67) victory at home against Rhode Island, Jan. 7.

Last Game Out at Richmond, Jan. 14 ...
•Davidson had at least three players score in double figures for the eighth consecutive game and led for all but 47 seconds in holding on for a 68-65 Atlantic 10 road win at Richmond last Sunday.
Justine Lyon led all scorers with 20 points, nailing her final three at the charity stripe to help seal the win. She went 7-of-8 from the line as Davidson was 20-of-25 overall as a team.
Mackenzie Latt drilled 9-of-20 shots for 18 points and Sarah Donovan came off the bench for 13 points, swishing home 7-of-8 at the free-throw line, and added six rebounds.
•Three times the Spiders got to within one point in the final two quarters but Davidson held on.
•Davidson's defense held the Spiders to just 30.1 percent shooting from the floor.
•Davidson hauled in 43 rebounds with four players pulling in at least six in the win, paced by Saadia Timpton's career-high tying eight.
 
Donovan & Turner A-10 Rookie of the Week Honorees ...
Sarah Donovan grabbed the Wildcats' first weekly award by being named the league's rookie of the week, Nov. 20, vs. Furman and App. State after averaging 14.5 points and 7.0 rebounds a game.
Katie Turner earned Davidson's second rookie of the Week, Dec. 26, by averaging 12 points and shooting 8-of-16 from the field, including 6-of-12 from beyond the arc vs. High Point and Charlotte.

Wildcat All-Time Record Watch ...
Mackenzie Latt became the 19th Wildcat to reach 1,000 points last year and currently sits in 6th with 1,386, needing seven points to move into 5th.
•She already ranks in the top-15 in career scoring average (8th, 13.1), blocks (6th, 97), field goals made (3rd, 601) and attempted (5th, 1,347), and rebounds (4th, 784).

Random Notes ...
Justine Lyon was named CollegeSportMadness.com Player of the Week, Dec. 26, after averaging 22 points, 8.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game in wins vs. High Point and Charlotte.
•The junior is closing in on 1,000 career points, needing just 94 to hit the mark and become the 20th player in program history to accomplish the feat.
•Dating back to last season, the junior has scored in double digits in 38 of her last 41 games.
•She is riding a career-best 15-game streak of scoring in double figures.
•She tallied her first two career double-doubles vs. Gardner-Webb and at High Point.
Mackenzie Latt has 23 career double-doubles (four this year), 11 of them coming as a freshman.
•Latt has reached the double-digit mark in points in 12 games and 76 times overall for her career.
Katie Turner twice has hit 6 triples in a game, most since Hannah Early had 6 vs. VCU (2/27/16).
•Davidson dished out a season-high 17 assists at High Point and has 15 double-digit assist games.
•The 'Cats are riding a nine-game double-digit assist streak, dishing out 16 three times.
•The Wildcats hit the 40-rebound mark for the sixth time this year at Richmond with 43.
•Davidson had a season-high 47 rebounds at Furman, matching last year's season best.

•GW (7-9, 2-2 A-10) is coming off a tough one-point setback at home to Duquesne, 54-53.
•Despite the setback, GW has won four of its past six games with wins over American, Monmouth, VCU and George Mason
•Brianna Cummings leads the team in scoring at 14.1 points per game, while Kelli Prange is second at 11.2.
•Eight times Cummings has led the team in scoring.
•Neila Luma is averaging a team-best 6.9 rebounds a game.
•GW is 3-4 on the road this year, 1-1 in league games.
•The Colonials are coming off their 21st 20-win season in program history and the program's third consecutive Atlantic 10 regular-season title in 2016-17.
