DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Atlantic 10 has released its 2016-17 men's basketball conference schedule and Davidson's third season in the league will feature 16 televised contests, as announced Tuesday.
"The Atlantic 10 Conference projects to be stronger than ever. From start to finish the challenges will be extraordinary," said head coach Bob McKillop.
The Wildcats return four starters from last year's team that finished 20-13 overall, while advancing to their sixth-straight postseason appearance and 11th in the last 12 years.
Davidson will play home/home series with Fordham, George Washington, Rhode Island, Richmond and VCU.
In addition, the Wildcats will host Duquesne (Jan. 24), George Mason (Feb. 8), Dayton (Feb. 24) and St. Bonaventure (Feb. 28), while also traveling to Saint Louis (Jan. 8), La Salle (Jan. 19), Saint Joseph's (Jan. 31) and Massachusetts (Feb. 18).
The 2017 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship will be played March 8-12, 2017 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.
