DAVIDSON, N.C. —
Winners of two of their last three games, the Davidson women's lacrosse team will play host to Elon Saturday afternoon inside Richardson Stadium as the Wildcats continue their season-long seven-game homestand.

The Opening Draw Control...
Davidson (3-3, 0-0 A-10) plays the Elon Phoenix (5-3) at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon to finish out the month of March. It just finished a span of playing three games in an eight-day stretch, going 2-1 with wins against Holy Cross and High Point.

The 'Cats are currenlty on a seven-game homestand, which started Feb. 28 vs. Winthrop and is the longest since a six-game stretch at the beginning of the 2012 season.

The All-Time Series/Last Meeting...
The series is just two games old, dating back to 2014. Davidson took the inaugural meeting, 15-8 at home, March 22, 2014.

Last year on the road, the 'Cats dropped a 10-5 decision to the Phoenix after Elon scored four goals in a row to turn a 5-3 lead into a 9-3 advantage late in the second half. Emily Rademacher led Davidson with three points on two goals and an assist, while Emma Sissman and Nicole Pettiglio netted two goals apiece.

Record Watch...
Emma Sissman moved up to seventh all-time in career goals after a four-goal outing to opening the season against Virginia Tech. She currently has 111 goals and needs 10 more to pass Haley Cook (2007-10) for sixth. In addition, Sissman is four points (124) away from moving into the top-10 all-time, passing Erin Doherty who has 127.

The senior is already the all-time leader for draw controls, reaching the 200-mark in a victory at Kennesaw State, Feb. 20. She currently has 215 draw controls.

Fellow senior Holly Thomas is 11 caused turnovers away from reaching the top-10 all-time as she has 39 for her career.

Weekly Awards...
Sophomore goalkeeper Rose Woolson earned Davidson's first weekly lacrosse award this year from the Atlantic 10 after being named the league's defensive player of the week for games played from March 7-13. Full details by clicking here.

Woolson played a big part in helping the Wildcats to a pair of wins last week over Holy Cross (8-7) and High Point (12-7). The Baltimore, Md., native combined for 18 saves, 10 groundballs and one caused turnover in the two wins.
