
'Cats Close Out Regular Season With 20-3 Win Over La Salle

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Behind 12 goal scorers, the Davidson women's lacrosse team took down La Salle 20-3 on Senior Day this Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats conclude the regular season with a 12-4 overall record and 6-3 record in conference play.
Maia Chisari, Keira Best, Adrienne Leone, and Aeryn Curren all scored for the Wildcats in the first quarter. Davidson led 5-1 after the first frame. The Wildcats outscored the Explorers 7-0 in the second quarter.
Lydia Canavan, Margit Crittenberger, and Elle Tuza each scored a goal for the first time in a college game. Davidson produced another shutout in the fourth frame, outscoring the La Salle 5-0.
Margit Crittenberger and Allie Hartnett each collected three caused turnovers for the Wildcats. Alanna Dumalac capped off a strong regular season with one goal, one assist, and nine draw controls. Another senior, Devyn Martinez, recorded a career-high five assist and also contributed with two goals. Adrienne Leon and Jenna Skibbe were a big part of the offense today. The duo combined for seven goals.

Davidson awaits its seed for the upcoming A-10 Tournament next week. The tournament will be held at Field 76 in Davidson, N.C. and the first round is scheduled for Thursday, April 30.
