ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Davidson wrestling team heads to Kimmel Arena Saturday to compete in the 2015 Arby's Southern Conference Championships.

A product of Ellicott City, Md., Patrick becomes just the third Davidson wrestler to earn all-conference accolades in program history. Patrick went undefeated in conference action this season.

Scott Patrick claimed three straight victories to win the 2014 SoCon Wrestling title at 184 pounds, as the Davidson Wrestling team took seventh overall at the championships a year ago. Patrick topped Campbell's Ville Heino by an 8-3 decision to earn the title and a bid to the NCAA's.
Last Time Out
Scott Patrick and Ian Solcz posted decisions in their final regular-season matches as the Wildcats fell to Southern Conference foe Appalachian State 38-6, Feb. 22. At 184 pounds, Patrick earned a 9-3 decision over Appalachian State's Dominick Vetell. Solcz continued the momentum at 197 pounds, picking up an overtime victory against Tyler Radford, 4-2.
Perfection
Scott Patrick became the first Wildcat to go undefeated in conference matches since Ian Kaplan did so during the 1997-98 season. The senior has won nine straight matches, and has picked up two major decisions and three falls on the year.
Movin' On Up
Head Coach Bobby Patnesky became the second most winningest coach in Davidson wrestling history Feb. 15 after Davidson defeated Coker, 22-18, to notch his 60th career win.
