Went 11-15 at 133 pounds, including a 2-3 mark in conference duals and two pins … won VMI’s Rat Rumble at 133 pounds with a major decision and decision … went 2-0 at the Patriot Duals with a pair of decisions over Cleveland State and George Mason … won four consecutive matches defeating Kennan Simmons of Anderson by fall, and defeating opponents from St. Andrews, The Citadel and Gardner-Webb … pinned The Citadel’s Kyle Casaletto in 3:21 at the SoCon Championship.

Won back-to-back Allegheny County championships as a junior and senior wrestling at Shady Side Academy … qualified for state tournament as a senior after placing second in section, district and region … finished year with 32-9 record and went 139-46 for his career … won Male Athlete of the Year 2011 for the National Italian American Hall of Fame Pittsburgh Chapter … went to states as a junior after placing second in section and region and third in district … placed in the top-12 at the Ironman Tournament … all-county, second in district and section and a regional qualifier as a freshman … named to Pennsylvania All-Academic team … also played soccer and lacrosse … honor roll student all four years.
