2014-15 (Sophomore):
Finished the year 6-19 at 157 pounds ... Earned his first win of the season at the Wolfpack Open with a pin at the 6:41 mark over Alex Rinehart of VMI (Nov. 16) … Rattled off three consecutive wins against Cory Goshkagarian, 5-4, Sam Zimmerman of SIUE, 5-1, and Samuel Paulay of VMI, 9-6 (Jan. 23) ... Went 1-2 at the 2015 Southern Conference Championship, after posting a major decision over VMI’s Sam Pualay (March 7).
2013-14 (Freshman):
Went 1-6 at 141 pounds before an injury forced him to miss the end of the season… Earned a 6-3 win by decision over William Scott of Belmont Abbey (11/3)… Dropped a close 2-4 decision to Robert Ruiz of Franklin & Marshall (1/26).
Before Davidson:
Wrestled for four seasons for coach Stan Chambers and Charles Blumell at Cardinal Gibbons HS... 2013 team captain... Named all-state (2013) and all-conference (2012-13) as a two-time N.C. state qualifier.... Placed fourth at the 2013 NCHSAA, compiling a 29-4 overall record that season and a 60-18 career mark.... Was a three-year National Honor Society member and spent four years on the A/B Honor Roll.
