DAVIDSON, N.C. — Wrapping up a two-game homestand, the Davidson women's soccer team fell by the score of 2-0 to visiting William & Mary Thursday evening at Alumni Stadium.
The Tribe (5-1-1) pushed their unbeaten streak to five games with a goal each in the first and second half.
Scoring for W&M was Emory Camper in the 31st minute and then a little past the start of the second half, Samantha Cordum knocked in her third goal of the year at the 54:08 mark. Earning assists were Elysse Branton and Rachel Moore.
Davidson (3-5-1), which was coming off a scoreless tie Sunday vs. Georgia State at home, was held to three shots.
Goalkeeper Rachel Locke pushed her Atlantic 10 leading save total to 52 by stopping seven of the Tribe's 20 shots.
The Wildcats travel down Interstate 77 to face cross-county rival Charlotte this coming Sunday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m.
