DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson women's basketball team looks to carry their momentum from winning their first game of the season Thursday by playing host for the first time to Mount Saint Mary's Sunday afternoon in John M. Belk Arena. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
The Wildcats are in the middle of playing four games in a nine-day stretch, before they take a few days off for Thanksgiving next week.
Opening Tip: Quick Hits ...
•Davidson is in its 36th season and reached the 400-win mark, Nov. 20, at Gardner-Webb.
•The 'Cats moved to the Atlantic 10, July 1, 2014, after a 21-year run in the SoCon.
•They finished 203-164 all-time in the SoCon, winning the program's first regular season title in 2011-12 and reaching the championship game three times.
•The Wildcats were picked to finish 12th in the A-10 coaches preseason poll.
•Davidson returns seven letterwinners and four of its five starters from a year ago.
