• The Wildcats host SoCon North Division foe Elon in the final home game of the regular season.
• It's the only meeting between the Wildcats and Phoenix this season.
• It's Senior Day, and Davidson will honor seniors AJ Atkinson, Frank Ben-Eze and Will Reigel prior to the contest.
• The Wildcats have won eight straight Senior Day games, dating back to 2003-04.
• Davidson is 12-2 at home this season and has won 18 of its last 20 games in Belk Arena, dating back to last season.
• The Wildcats are 13-3 in their last 16 contests and are coming off a 91-74 home setback to No. 24 Wichita State Saturday.
• The 'Cats, who were picked first in the South in the SoCon Preseason Coaches Poll, lead the division with a 14-2 record.
• The Wildcats' magic number to win the outright South Division title is 1.
• This will be the fifth meeting between Davidson coach Bob McKillop and Elon coach Matt Matheny. Matheny, who is in his third year with the Phoenix, was an assistant coach on McKillop's staff for 16 seasons.
• Matheny played football and basketball for the Wildcats and is a 1992 Davidson graduate.
• Elon assistant coaches Tim Sweeney (2 years) and Will Roberson (3 years) were also members of McKillop's staff at Davidson, and Roberson is a 2002 Davidson graduate.
• The Phoenix are tied for second in the SoCon North Division with an 8-8 record.
• Elon has lost its last four and is coming off a 78-76 overtime loss to Western Carolina at home last Saturday.

Series History
• Davidson leads the all-time series 33-13, but Elon has won two of the last three meetings. Davidson won the last contest in the series, 83-75, last season in Belk Arena.
• The series began with a 25-17 Elon victory Jan. 18, 1916.
• The 'Cats are 17-5 against Elon at home, 8-0 in Belk Arena and 17-4 during Bob McKillop's tenure.
• Last meeting: Nik Cochran exploded for a career-high 29 points, and backcourt mate JP Kuhlman netted a season-high 22 to lead Davidson to an 83-75 win over Elon in the last meeting, Feb. 24, 2011.
• Cochran was 8-of-12 from the field, hit five 3-pointers and went 8-for-8 from the free-throw line. Kuhlman scored nine of his points from the charity stripe (10 attempts) and hit 3-of-6 from the 3-point line.
• Clint Mann scored nine points, while Tom Droney and De'Mon Brooks each scored eight for Davidson.
• Chris Long led Elon with 27 points after hitting 8-of-13 from the floor and all nine of his free-throw attempts. Lucas Troutman had 16 points and five rebounds, and Scott Grable netted 10.
• The contest featured 17 lead changes and eight ties, and the Wildcats' execution down the stretch was the difference as a late 8-2 run turned a two-point cushion into a nine-point Wildcat advantage.

• Ninety-eight percent of the 'Cats' scoring and 96 percent of their rebounding comes from juniors, sophomores and freshmen.
• The 'Cats have posted 20 wins under head coach Bob McKillop 10 times, including six of the last eight seasons. Davidson has won 20 games in a season 19 times.
• The Wildcats rank third in the nation in team free-throw percentage (.776). Nik Cochran, Jake Cohen and JP Kuhlman all rank in the top-10 in the SoCon.
• Davidson has made 20 or more free throws in 10 games this season.
• Davidson hit all of its free throws (14-for-14) against Duke Nov. 18, for the first time since 2008 (Appalachian State, 6-for-6). The 'Cats also made all seven attempts against Chattanooga Feb. 4.
• Davidson changed the starting lineup for the first time this season against Samford, Feb. 15, as Chris Czerapowicz got his first career start.

• JP Kuhlman has been named CoSIDA?Capital One Academic-All-District and moves onto the national ballot for Academic All-America.
• Kuhlman has been named to the Cousy Award watch list. The award is given annually to the nation's best point guard.
• By defeating Kansas 80-74 Dec. 19, the Wildcats defeated a ranked opponent for the first time since topping Wisconsin 73-56 in the 2008 NCAA Tournament.
• It was Davidson's first win over a ranked opponent in the regular season since defeating No. 15 South Carolina Jan. 16, 1974.
• It was the 'Cats' first win over a ranked opponent on the road since defeating No. 17 St. John's 88-84 Jan. 4, 1972.
• Davidson has a 6-5 record in non-conference games.
• Davidson did not give up a 3-pointer at UNCW Nov. 26 (0-for-3).
• The 'Cats' game against Georgia Southern Jan. 7, was the 300th in Belk Arena, which opened in 1989. Davidson won the contest 96-74.
