• Davidson returns home to face Campbell in a Pioneer Football League contest Saturday at 1 p.m. in Richardson Stadium. It's Family Weekend at Davidson.
• The 'Cats are coming off a 56-13 loss at Jacksonville last Saturday.
• Davidson plays three of its final four games at home. The 'Cats are 2-1 at home this season.
• Wildcat quarterback Jonathan Carkhuff is flirting with school records for single-season passing. He needs 518 yards and 22 completions to reach the school marks. Receiver Lanny Funsten needs 32 receptions to break the school single-season record.
• The Wildcats are 13-13 in Richardson Stadium in their last 26 contests.
• The Wildcats own a 13-14 all-time mark in conference games at Richardson Stadium.
• Davidson is 18-24 in its last 42 PFL contests and owns a 24-33 all-time PFL record.
• Campbell has won three in a row and is coming off a 48-24 home win over San Diego last Saturday.
• The 'Cats were picked ninth in the PFL preseason poll while Campbell was picked seventh.
Series Record
• Davidson leads the all-time series, which began in 2008, 3-0.
• Kenny Mantuo scored on a 3-yard run on 3rd-and-goal with 13.1 seconds left, and kicker Ben Behrendt added the point after to lift Davidson to a 28-27 win at Campbell last season.
• The Camels had a last chance at a 54-yard field goal try with .5 seconds on the clock, but the kick was short, giving Davidson the win. The Wildcats trailed by 13 points with 1:44 left in the third quarter.
• Mantuo rushed for a career-high 181 yards, and Justin Williams added 65 rushing yards and 24 receiving markers as Davidson rolled up a season-high 405 yards of offense.
• Jonathan Carkhuff completed 14 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown, throwing to six different receivers. Lanny Funsten had three catches for 39 yards, and Michael Blanchard caught three passes for 31 yards and a score. John Behm led the defense with eight tackles, including two for loss.
• Daniel Polk led Campbell with 156 yards through the air, completing 9-of-12 passes, and added 37 rushing yards. Rashaun Brown rushed eight times for 53 yards and a score.
• Mantuo rushed 20 times for 135 yards and a touchdown to lead Davidson to a 24-7 win in the last meeting in Richardson Stadium.
• Quarterback Michael Blanchard ran for 91 yards and completed 9-of-17 passes for 83 yards and two scores, while Andrew Aldrich caught four passes for 42 yards and a score. Ben Sarver also caught his first career touchdown pass, a toe-tapper just inside the boundary line in the back of the end zone.
• The Wildcat defense held the Camels, who came into the game averaging over 500 yards of total offense, to 196 yards.
• C.J. Oates led Campbell with 67 yards on the ground and caught three passes for 41 markers, and Polk threw for 101 yards.
Leftovers from Jacksonville
• Peter Kidwell recorded his eighth career interception.
• Chase Culbertson scored his second TD of the season.
• Davidson has lost three straight against Jacksonville.
• The 'Cats TD in the second quarter broke an offensive scoring drought that lasted 13 quarters; the 'Cats had a punt return for TD against Marist.
Claw Marks
• Jonathan Carkhuff and Lanny Funsten set a school record with a 99-yard TD pass and catch vs. Johnson C. Smith Sept. 24.
• Funsten's 195 receiving yards vs. JCSU was the most for a Wildcat since Alvin Atkinson had 220 vs. Furman in 1979.
• Toms Bernhards-Callahan's 94-yard punt return for touchdown against Marist Oct. 8, equaled the school record, set by George Hannen against Wofford in 1969.
• During head coach Tripp Merritt's tenure, the Wildcats are 20-5 when winning the turnover battle.
• Merritt has moved into fifth place on Davidson's all-time win chart (28). He is seven away from fourth place, his former mentor, Tim Landis.
• Davidson is 5-2 on the opening coin toss; the 'Cats received the opening kickoff four times.
• Stetson and Mercer will join the PFL, beginning in the 2013 season.
