Young on Totten: “An important member of the women’s team butterfly corps, Jessica’s contributions as a captain in and out of the pool will be important to our team’s success. She enjoyed a breakthrough performance at last year’s conference championship, and we are excited to see her build on that performance.”
Wildcat Career: 2008 CCSA championship finalist (100 fly/7th) … conference championship team member (2006) … conference championship relay team member (2006, 2007) … relay event winner versus Clemson (2005-06) and Duke (2005-06).
Prep/Personal: Team MVP … member of high school All-American relay team … placed third in 200 medley relay at state … also played water polo and has competed in several triathlons.
