Young on McKinney: “Stephannie has been a consistent presence in the diving events for our team. She has the talent to compete for a conference title on both boards, and we are excited to see her perform as a senior leader on our team.”
Wildcat Career: Individual event winner against Wingate (2007-08) ... finished seventh with a score of 214.50 on the 3-meter dive and earned points with 12th place finish in 3-meter springboard event at 2006 CAAs ... won the 3-meter diving event at tri-meet with Emory and Georgia Southern and both the 1- and 3-meter events against Radford, VMI and Wingate last season ... won both 1- and 3-meter diving events at tri-meet with Gardner-Webb and Wingate in 2005 ... finished first on 1-meter springboard at Radford and placed seventh in 3-meter springboard at CAA Pod Meet in 2005-06 ... SoCon academic honor roll (2006, 2007).
Prep/Personal: MVP three years … second-team all-district … placed seventh at state in 2003 … mother Jennie attended Davidson (1982-84). nominee.
