Sutton on Calve: “Lauren had a tremendous spring season; she developed a lot of strength and a precise shot. She has a great stick inside the circle and good awareness on attack.”
2007: Appeared in 20 games and made a pair of starts for the Wildcats last season … scored a goal and three assists … scored for the Wildcats in the team’s 12-1 win over Catawba and posted a pair of assists … also recorded an assist in team’s 4-2 win over Christopher Newport on Sept. 1.
2006: Appeared in 17 games last season … scored career-high three goals and an assist on Sept. 29 in ‘Cats 10-0 blanking of Catawba … also scored team’s lone goal against Pacific on Oct. 10.
2005: Played in 14 games, getting the starting nod twice … scored first collegiate goal against Catawba.
Prep: Second-team all-region and first-team all-district … two-time leading scorer … member of Capitol and Pegasus club team that won a pool championship at the 2004 National Indoor Tournament … club team captain … participated in Futures Olympic Development program five years … also competed in track and field.
