DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson women's basketball team looks to remain unbeaten in Atlantic 10 play when it hosts Saint Joseph's 6:00 p.m. Wednesday inside Belk Arena.

LAST TIME OUT
Three Davidson starters scored 17 points each, led by freshman guard Elena Alvarez, who posted a career-high performance and went 9-for-11 from the free-throw line as the Wildcats defeated Saint Louis, 71–55, inside Chaifetz Arena.
The Wildcats remain undefeated in Atlantic 10 play, improving to 3–0 and 11–5 overall. All three of Davidson's conference wins have come by double-digit margins.
Edina Strausz also recorded a career-high performance, scoring 17 points on 8-for-11 shooting. Emilie Bessell closed out the game strong, tallying 10 of her 17 points in the fourth quarter while going 7-for-8 from the field and a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc.
Charlise Dunn led the team with six rebounds, while Jasmine Timmerson dished out a game-high four assists.
SERIES HISTORY
The Hawks arrive at Belk Arena with an 12-1 lead over the Wildcats in the all-time series, currently having won the last six meetings between the two teams.
Davidson was last defeated at home on Jan. 29, 2025, falling 60-46. Tomisin Adenupe led the squad with 14 points off the bench as the Wildcats were outscored 41-20 in the middle two quarters.
The Hawks enter the contest 11-3 and are coming off 29-point win at Fordham.
EDINA DOWN LOW
Edina Strausz, the lone center on the Wildcats roster, has become one of the most efficient scorers in the A-10 this season. Her field goal percentage of .505 leads the team and ranks seventh in the A-10. In conference play she ranks fourth in the league with a .581 field goal percentage after her 8-for-11 performance at Saint Louis on Saturday.
The sophomore from Budapest, Hungary has tripled her playing time after her freshman season, averaging 16.0 minutes per game, making eight starts, and scoring a career-high 7.5 points per game.
SHOOTING THE LIGHTS OUT
The Wildcats have continued to rain threes at the start of conference play, shooting a league best 36.8 percent form beyond the arc. This percentage ranks 24th in the nation.
Katie Donovan leads the A-10 in three-point percentage, shooting .508 from distance and .563 in conference play. Three Davidson players rank inside the top 10 in conference three-point shooting percentage; Emilie Bessell (2nd - .571), Donovan (3rd - .563), Jasmine Timmerson (10th - .500).
