Wildcats fall at Dayton

DAYTON, OHIO – The Davidson men's soccer team suffered a 4-2 setback at Dayton in Atlantic 10 action Saturday night.
The loss drops the Wildcats to 2-5-1 overall and 0-1-2 in league play, while the Flyers improve to 3-1-5 and 2-0-1.
Dayton delivered the knockout blow in the first half, scoring three goals in a 19-minute span the put the Wildcats in a 3-0 disadvantage going into the break. Dayton's Dren Dobruna tallied an assist on two of the three goals.
The Flyers continued to press the advantage in the second half, scoring in the 48th minute on a penalty kick.
The Wildcats scored their first goal in the 64th minute with freshman Aiden Boudro collecting his first collegiate goal and freshman Nicholas Alvaro Zebballos marking his first career assist.
Nico Quanbeck added an 80th minute goal to put the final score at 4-2.
