Wildcats Win 5-1 at Bellarmine, Complete 2-0 Weekend

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sib Naaktgeboren turned in her second straight two-goal game — and her third multi-goal game of the season — Sunday afternoon as the Davidson field hockey team earned a 5-1 road win over Bellarmine.
While completing their first weekend sweep of the season, the Wildcats improved to 3-3.
Naaktgeboren took her season total to a career-best eight goals, topping the seven-goal mark she hit in 2023. Both of her goals Sunday came in span of less than two minutes in the third quarter, as the Wildcats extended their 1-0 halftime lead.
Naaktgeboren assisted on the Wildcats' first goal, too, setting up Emilia Ostos' second-quarter score. It was Ostos' first college goal.
Hallie Slidell notched her first college goal to cap the three-goal third quarter, and Ava Mickel's fourth-quarter goal pushed the Wildcats' lead to 5-0.
Lourdes Wolf and Sarah Grace Clifton added assists for Davidson, which held a 20-3 shots advantage and a 7-2 lead in penalty corners.
