FELT RETURNS FOR MORE
It didn't take long for Felt to leave his mark on the A-10. As a freshman in 2023, he swept the conference's top honors, securing the A-10 Most Outstanding Rookie and Most Outstanding Performer awards after winning A-10 titles in the 500 free and 1,650 free and getting silver medals in the 200 free and with the 800 free relay.
Last year, he repeated as champion in the 500 free and 1,650 free and again took home silver in the 200 free and 800 free relay as well. He improved upon his A-10 record in the 1,650 (14:55.89) and set the league's 500 mark (4:16.58).
As the 2025 championships open, Felt has his name on nine program records: 100 free, 200 free, 500 free, 1,000 free and 1,650 free; 400 medley relay, 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 800 free relay.
Â
SCHOU, VALMASSEI, ETC.
The Wildcats have a few other returning medalists as well.
Â
Diver Annica Valmassei took silver in both the 1- and 3-meter events last year, while Andrew Schou took bronze in the 100 breast.
Â
The men's 800 free relay team of Felt, Ben McClain, Mitch McClain and Fletcher Smith also took bronze (6:28.22).
