HAMPTON, Va. — Two podium performances, a school mark and an Atlantic 10 Conference record highlighted Davidson's first day at the 2025 A-10 Championships Wednesday at the Hampton Aquaplex.

The Davidson men's 800 free relay team captured silver and set a program mark (6:25.40), while lead-off swimmer Dylan Felt's 1:32.96 time set the A-10's 200 free record. Felt teamed with Mitch McClain, Fletcher Smith and Matthew Shnowske on the relay.

Diver Elle Jacobsen secured bronze in the 1-meter event to lead the Davidson women. She posted a score of 271.60.

Other top-8 finishes came from the men's 200 medley relay of Liam McDonough, Andrew Schou, Miles Charles and Guil Ware (4th, 1:27.06), diver Annica Valmassei (5th, 250.25) and the women's 200 medley relay of Ann Thompson, Anna Newman, Sophia Parker and Addy Donaldson (6th, 1:41.92).

Action resumes Thursday with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. Events include the 500 free, 200 individual medley, 50 free, men's 1-meter diving and the 200 free relay.
