Field Hockey Drops Contest at Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Despite earning a season-high 17 penalty corners, the Davidson field hockey team came up short in a 1-0 non-conference game at Bucknell Sunday afternoon.
It was the final road contest of the season for the Wildcats, who fell to 8-8.
Bucknell (9-6) got its lone goal from Ryane Fisahn with 2:06 left in the first quarter.
Davidson's Sib Naaktgeboren had a game-high nine shots, including three shots-on-goal.
The Wildcats finished with advantages in corners (17-7) and shots-on-goal (8-7). They earned six penalty corners in both the second and fourth quarters.
Goalkeeper Avery Foster earned five saves.
