'Cats Draw Arizona in Opening Round of Battle 4 Atlantis

PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – The bracket for the eight-team Battle 4 Atlantis, presented by Bad Boy Mowers, was released Wednesday morning with the Davidson College men's basketball team taking on Arizona in its opening round Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
The pair of Wildcat squads sit on the same side of the bracket as Providence and Oklahoma, with the winners of each game squaring off Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28 at 5 p.m. on ESPN. The losers of each game will move to the consolation bracket and play at 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to compete in the 2024 Battle 4 Atlantis," said head coach Matt McKillop. "Each year, it proves to be the top tournament in college basketball, and the tradition and history of the programs in the field are extraordinary. We are looking forward to the challenge and competitive environment down in the Bahamas."
The 2024 Battle 4 Atlantis will be Davidson's ninth consecutive MTE (multi-team event), and the 'Cats will meet Arizona for just the second time in program history.
