ELON, N.C. - The Davidson men's tennis program fell 4-0 in a non-conference match at Elon Tuesday.Â
The Wildcats overall record moves to 5-8 while their Atlantic 10 mark stays at 2-3.Â
On court two, Udday Singh and Nico Pinzon were left unfinished leading 4-3 in the No. 2 spot as the Phoenixes won on courts one and three to take an early 1-0 lead.Â
From there, Elon carried its momentum into singles competition taking identical 6-2, 6-2 wins on courts three, five and four respectively.
Despite the loss, Juan Camilo Perez Gongora took the opening set of his match 7-6 (7) in the No. 1 spot as well as Sebastian Carpio Moran winning his first set on court six 7-6 (7).
Davidson will continue non-leauge action when it travels to Longwood University March 24.Â
