UP UNTIL NOW…
The 'Cats enter their spring break stretch at 3-2 overall, losing only to #23 Clemson on opening day and reigning Big South Conference champs, Mercer. In the wins column, Davidson has picked up convincing victories over Winthrop, Stetson and Coastal Carolina. Freshmen Jenna Skibbe and Brooke Ross have aided in the early-season offense, winning three Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors, while returners Riley Cochrane (19 pts), Josie Lambert (16) and Allie Hartnett (15) have also helped Davidson's attack.
FROM THE COACH'S DESK…
"The preseason can feel long and grueling at times, so I'm excited that our first overnight road trip is one that this team will remember forever," said head coach Kim Wayne. "Traveling to California to compete against two teams we have never faced before is special. Taking the team to Paige Doyle's home is special. And touring Alcatraz while traveling to San Francisco will be an experience these players will never forget. I have high hopes for our team this spring, but the bonding piece and the shared experiences is something that will remind us of who we are fighting for and why."
