DAVIDSON – The Davidson women's basketball team will look to bounce back into the win column when it continues a stretch of four road games, traveling to face Ball State Thursday morning.

Davidson traveled to Florida to take part in the Fort Myers Tip-Off Shell Division Tournament Nov. 29-30.
The 'Cats came up short in both their contest over two days falling 79-50 to Virginia Tech and 69-59 to Belmont.
Charlise Dunn led the way over the event averaging 13.5 ppg, 5.5 rpg and totaling four steals. Additionally, Dunn shot an efficient .429 from the field and earned her first start since last season. For her efforts, the junior guard was named to the Fort Myers Tip-Off All-Tournament Team.
Freshman Candice Lienafa also had another strong showing over the weekend, tallying 13.0 points per contest and shooting a blazing .588 from the floor and .750 from 3-point range.
DEFENDING THE ARC…
The Wildcats continue to prompt poor shooting percentages from their competitors from long-range entering game nine. Davidson's .240 opponent 3-point shooting percentage is the second best in the Atlantic 10 as well as ranks 25th among all DI institutions.
WILDCAT REPORT…
The 'Cats have compiled the sixth best shooting percentage in the league sitting at .407 from the floor.
Having seen time in all eight games this year, Lienafa paces the Davidson offense with stifling .610 FG%, .600 3PT% and .933 FT% over 20.9 minutes per game.
In her official return to competition two weeks ago, Dunn has picked up where she left of last season quickly moving atop of the Wildcat leaders with a team second-best 9.5 ppg to go along with 4.3 rpg and 1.3 spg.
Katie Donovan has found comfort in a hybrid position, allotting for her presence more in the paint as she leads the Davidson defense with 5.6 rpg.

The Cardinals will search to snap a two-game losing streak after most recently falling 63-55 to South Dakota State Sunday afternoon.
Ball State boasts a well-rounded roster that has five players averaging double-digit point each game in Ally Becki (13.8), Lachelle Austin (12.3), Alex Richard (12.3), Madelyn Bischoff (11.8) and Elise Stuck (10.0).
Marie Kiefer paces the defense with team-highs 6.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game while scoring just under double figures with 9.3 point per game.
As a team, the Cardinals average 70.5 points and 37.1 rebounds per contest while allowing their opponents to tally 62.8 and 36.5 respectively. Ball State is currently shooting .425 from the field, .261 from beyond the arc and .719 from the foul line.
