
Dunn and Morgan Lead ‘Cats to Road Win at St. Bonaventure

OLEAN, N.Y. – Charlise Dunn (22) and Issy Morgan (18) combined for 40 points to lead Davidson past St. Bonaventure, 65-57, in Atlantic 10 women's basketball action Wednesday evening at the Reilly Center.
With the win, the 'Cats move to 15-6 overall and 5-5 in conference play, while the Bonnies fall to 4-17 and 1-9.
Maddie Plank joined the Wildcat duo in double figures with 12 points on a 5-of-11 showing from the floor.
Davidson, which went to the half up, 36-27, extended its lead to as many as 16 late in the final stanza.
In addition to a season-high 12 blocks, including five from Millie Prior, the 'Cats finished with 26 points off 17 Bonnie miscues. Prior also grabbed a game-high eight boards for the Wildcats, who shot 50 percent from the floor after intermission.
Despite both teams struggling from the floor in the opening quarter, Davidson raced out to an 11-2 advantage before ending the frame up 13-9 with all its scoring coming from Dunn (7) and Plank (6).
Capped by five straight points from Dunn, the Wildcats opened the second with a 10-2 spurt to push the margin to double digits.
Dani Haskell led the way for St. Bonaventure with 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting.
