Wildcats Continue Road Trip with Contest at Fordham

DAVIDSON, N.C. - The Davidson women's basketball team rounds out a two-game road trip with a Nationally Televised match up at Fordham 2 p.m. Sunday inside of Rose Hill Gym.

SERIES HISTORY...
The Wildcats trail the Rams in the all-time series 14-5 dating back to the 2014-15 season. Davidson will look to break a five-game losing streak against Fordham. Most recently the 'Cats fell 74-65 to the Rams Feb. 25 in Belk Arena.

Suzi-Rose Deegan tallied a team-high 23 points and was joined by Issy Morgan (12) and Tomisin Adenupe (10) in double figures. Despite the loss, Davidson shot an efficient 50.0 percent from the floor over the contest.

Davidson suffered a tough 79-41 loss on the road at George Mason. Millie Prior paced the Wildcats with 12 points and six rebounds followed by Charlise Dunn with 11 points and three rebounds.

PRIOR PACING THE 'CATS...
A transfer from Fordham, Millie Prior will take a trip back to N.Y. with a solid stat line in season averages that include 11.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and an impressive 62.7 shooting percentage from the floor. In 15 starts, Prior has scored under double figures in just three contests.

SHARING THE WEALTH...
Davidson features a notably deep and well-rounded roster as all members are able to adapt to any position needed on the floor in order to promote a strong team dynamic.

On any given night, there is no predicting who will take a turn leading the team from the floor. Already in 15 contests, the 'Cats have featured seven different leading scorers in the box scores.

The Wildcats have posted six games with at least four players in double-digit points and 11 games with at least three players in double figures.

FULKS CLOSING IN ON MILESTONE WIN...
Having compiled an already impressive season through the opening half of the year, head coach Gayle Fulks (98-96) enters the week two wins away from her 100th career win as a head coach.

The current 12 wins is already tied for Coach Fulks' fourth most wins in a season at Davidson. Fulks is on pace, with 15 contests remaining in the year for her best season yet a top an 18-15 2021-22 season.
