DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson College wrestling team is set to host the first annual Davidson Duals on Thursday and Friday in Belk Arena. Eight teams from across the country will be in attendance representing four different conferences.
The action is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday with doors opening at 10:00 a.m. Attendance and parking is free to the public.
Davidson is slated to begin the first day against Little Rock at 11:00 a.m. then, the Wildcats will take on Harvard approximately 15 minutes after. It will be the first time the Wildcats have faced both programs in the team's history.
On day two, the 'Cats will square off with Lock Haven at approximately 12:00 p.m. then take on Brown shortly after. Head coach Nate Carr Jr. will face the team he previously coached for when Davidson battles the Bald Eagles for the second consecutive year. The Wildcats fell to Lock Haven on the road, 31-13, last season. It will also be the second time in as many years the 'Cats will face Brown after dropping a tight 22-19 dual to the Bears a year ago.
