2023-24 (Freshman): SoCon All-Freshman team selection at 184 pounds... Went 15-16 overall with a 6-2 mark in SoCon duals... Was tied for the team lead with four major decision wins and was second in pins with three... Finished third in the freshman/sophomore division at the Southeast Open (11/4) in the 184-pound weight class... Defeated eventual SoCon champion, Tomas Brooker of App State, at the Southern Scuffle (1/1) in a 7-5 decision... Ended the regular season by winning seven of his last nine matches... Collected dual wins over Campbell, Chattanooga, Bellarmine, The Citadel, VMI, and Presbyterian... Won his first-round match over Adam Ortega of The Citadel at the SoCon Championships (3/8) in an 11-6 decision.
