2023-24 (Freshman): SoCon All-Freshman team selection... Wrestled in a team-high 38 matches and collected a team-high 21 wins... Led the team with 217 total match points and 23 escapes... Became the third Davidson wrestler since 2015 to win 20 or more matches... Took third place in the freshman/sophomore division at the Southeast Open (11/4) in the 149-pound weight class... Also took third at the Appalachian Open (1/27)... Picked up a ranked win over Derek Raike of Ohio at the Navy Classic (11/18) in an 11-9 decision... Picked up non-conference dual wins over American, Duke, Sacred Heart, Little Rock, and Brown... Earned SoCon wins over Hagen Heistand of Campbell and won via forfeit against Presbyterian... Defeated VMI's Ryan Vigil in overtime at the SoCon Championships (3/8).
