• Davidson enters Saturday's contest 4-3 overall following an 85-81 victory at Charlotte on Wednesday.
• On the season, six 'Cats average at least eight points per game, led by David Skogman's 13.3 points per game efforts.
• Connor Kochera leads the Wildcats in efficiency with an impressive 59.6 percent (28-of-47) shooting from the floor. In his last three outings, Kochera has shot 17-of-25 from the field, averaging 14 points per game over that stretch.
• Four of Davidson's seven games this season have finished within a four-point margin, while the 'Cats are 2-2 in games decided by five points or less.

• Forward David Skogman scored a career-high 30 points and point guard Grant Huffman had his first double-double as the Davidson Wildcats topped cross-county rival Charlotte 85-81 Wednesday night in the annual Battle for the Hornets' Nest Trophy in Halton Arena.
• The win was Davidson's second in the last three meetings with the 49ers and their eighth in the previous 11 matchups.
• Huffman's double-double came with 10 points and 11 assists, marking the first double-double in points & assists since 2019.
• Freshman Bobby Durkin added 18 points, including 11-straight in the second half, while Connor Kochera hit four treys and provided 16 points.

• Beginning with Saturday's contest against Wright State, the Wildcats will play five-straight non-conference games from inside the comfort of their own home.

• Davidson newcomer Angelo Brizzi has become a defensive threat for the Wildcats with a team-best 17 steals this season.
• The Villanova transfer earned six steals alone against Maryland on Nov. 10, marking the first time a Wildcat has had five or more steals in a game since Jon Axel Gudmundsson had five against George Mason in January 2019.
• Brizzi added another five steals to the stat sheet against St. Mary's last weekend, as the redshirt-sophomore currently ranks first in the A-10 in total steals (17) and steals per game (2.43).
